cars are now almost all systems use EFI (Electronic fuel injection),
the toyota is now adopted this system.
EFI systems use various sensors to detect the condition of the engine and driving conditions the car. Furthermore, the engine ECU will calculate optimum fuel volume penyemperotan, who then ordered the injector to spray fuel.
The following figure shows the basic configuration of EFI.

This section calculates the optimum fuel injection duration based on signals from the sensors.
Air flow meter or manifold pressure sensor
His job detecting intake air mass or manifold pressure.
Crankshaft position sensor
To detect cranksahft angle and engine speed.
Camshaft position sensor
It detects the angle standard camshaft and camshaft timing.
Water temperature sensor
It detects the temperature of coolant
Throttle position sensor
It detects the throttle valve opening angle.
oxygen sensor
It detects the oxygen concentration in flue gas

There are two types of EFI systems when the number of detection methods are classified based on its air intake.
1. L-EFI (Type Air-flow control)
This type uses water flow meter to detect the amount of air flowing in the intake manifold.
There are two types of detection methods: The only directly measure the mass of air intakes, and the other to make corrections based on the volume of air.
2. D-EFI (control type manifold pressure)
This type measures the pressure inside the intake manifold to detect the amount of intake air using the intake air density.
